CRM 2013: 19-page Preview Guide Released

This month, Microsoft has released a 19-page “Release Preview Guide” for its upcoming fall release of Dynamics CRM 2013. This preview guide is available to everyone, allowing people to get a jump on the new features and interface that are to come with this release.

The release guide builds and expands on the promises Microsoft made about Dynamics CRM 2013 when they announced the“Orion”update last year. Some of the new updates that this guide outlines are:

The New User Interface
The new interface is meant to eliminate navigational guesswork and allow for more efficient and streamlined tasks.

Yammer, Lync, and Skype integration and functionality

New CRM Mobile App
Windows 8 and iPad will be available on launch.
The new touch-optimized mobile experiences for Windows Phone 8, iPhone and Android phones will follow shortly after.

One feature that is missing from the launch date is Exchange Integration. This function, according to the preview guide, would allow for CRM online, and Exchange online synchronization for email, tasks, appointments, and contacts and will be available in an update shortly after launch.

You can download the official preview guide.
