Microsoft Releases StaffHub for Office 365

In its newest push to the cloud, Microsoft has released StaffHub as part of their Microsoft Office 365 offering. Microsoft has been heavily investing in their business automation tools, but this tool is different in that it is targeting the world of staff/shift workers rather than the 9-5 corporate crowd.

StaffHub is an electronic scheduling app that will allow managers to create, update, and manage schedules efficiently. It will also enable employees to communicate via the app to trade shifts, ask for coverage, or offer up a shift. Managers can also post relevant company documents, so they are readily available and up to date. Managers will be informed every step of the way when employees offer up shifts or swap. Say good-bye to frantic calls that your shift won’t be covered because there was a miscommunication of employees via text message or phone call. Managers will have oversight and visibility into everything.

One of the benefits of using the Microsoft product is that, in true Microsoft fashion, it can connect to other systems. Through Microsoft integration tools you can connect StaffHub to an HR system for requesting time off, viewing pay stubs, or any custom applications you may have. You will have all the powerful of your in-house systems with the ease of a mobile system.

StaffHub is available already on several Office 365 plans, and additional users can be purchased for as little as $2/user/month. See the linked Microsoft Blog for more details. https://blogs.office.com/2017/01/12/microsoft-staffhub-is-here/
