Utilize the Dynamics GP PSTL Part IV: Sales Tools

This is Part IV from my previous blogs on utilizing the Dynamics GP PSTL.  The three previous blogs addressed the System, Financial, and Purchasing sections of the PSTL.

In this blog, I wanted to discuss the nine Sales tools listed under the Sales Tools grid:  Customer Combiner, Customer Modifier, Customer Name Modifier, RM Master Trigger, RM Transaction Unapply, Salesperson Modifier, SOP-Customer Item Lookup, Territory Modifier, and Territory Combiner.

To access the PSTL tools, the tools must be installed for Dynamics GP and a shortcut created on the Navigation pane of the Dynamics GP desktop.  The PSTL software is located on the Dynamics GP installation disk.

To create the shortcut to PSTL:

  • Right click in the Dynamics GP Navigation Pane
  • Select Add
  • Add Window
  • Type the Name of the Shortcut and window
  • Expand the Technical Service Tools option
  • Expand the Project option
  • Select Professional Services Tools Library
