Requirements are an essential part of any software project and the foundation on which all projects should be built. The gathering of and compiling of requirements for a software project is very much a partnership between the user of the software and the developer. Obviously the customer or software user needs to communicate to the developer what they need, but at the same time the developer needs to be able to anticipate needs and ask the right questions during the requirements gathering phase of a project.
For years I have been creating customizations for Microsoft Dynamics GP using a combination of Modifier and VBA. This has always worked well for me in the past with a few quirks and hiccups in VBA from time to time. I have created simple additional fields on screens, complex logic to enhance our customers business and many other types of projects. All of this has worked well, been easy to upgrade to the next GP version and been basically stable code for many years.
KTL Solutions has been creating customizations for Microsoft Dynamics GP since before there was a Microsoft Dynamics GP. Dynamics GP was originally Dynamics by Great Plains Software and some of our products go back that far.
