Duties and Responsibilities
- Investigates, analyzes, and resolves business issues with Dynamics GP Software or Third Party Products.
- Follow implementation, configuration and testing tasks within project schedules.
- Install, setup, configure, implement, integrate and test application solutions.
- Follow project management requirements, user and customer requirements.
- Perform application and system troubleshooting skills.
- Handle Support Calls.
- Document application requirements, technical specifications, use-cases, workflow process.
- Able to generate additional client revenue outside of project scope through identification and evaluation of additional client needs, sell third party products.
- Assists in developing test plans, task sheets and ensures solutions are tested and perform according to the specifications.
- Produces end-user and requirements documentation.
- Works with project manager to keep projects on schedule and recommend needed action to meet deadlines.
- Writes weekly status reports to project manager.
- Performs sales support on standard systems as directed by answering application questions, preparing packaged presentations, estimating project consulting time and running demonstrations.
- Coaching and mentoring of Associate Consultants.
Certifications and Knowledge
- 2-4+ years experience.
- Single Product Master Certification.
- Extensive Working Knowledge of the following products: Integration Manager, FRx Reporter.
- Extensive Working Knowledge of the following modules in Great Plains: GL, AP, AR, Bank Reconciliation, Collections Management, SOP, IV, POP, BOM, Business Portal.
- Extensive working knowledge of one of the following: Mfg, Field Service, HR/Payroll.
- Knowledge of MSSQL Enterprise Manager for basic backup, restore and other database maintenance operations.
- Knowledge of MSSQL Query Analyzer for basic select, update, delete statements.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Great Plains core financials, two additional module, and implementation methodology.
- Can manage core implementation from start to finish.
- Knowledge of basic sales techniques and practices.
- Skill in understanding customer needs and providing quality customer service.
- Skill in verbal and written communication to analyze, interpret, and present customer needs and technical product and service information.
- Skill in software installation/configuration.
- Ability to produce project deliverables (design, installation, documentation, reports, etc.) in accordance with AIM or equivalent project methodology.
- Ability to constructively participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
- Ability to follow project plans and requirements.
- Ability to travel frequently and possibly for a week at a time.
